The Teacher’s Guide contains the entire Student Workbook answers, plus complete daily lesson plans with matching pagination.

Each lesson of Storybook Latin Year 2 includes stories taken from the Bible. Stories are based on the Vulgate, the Latin translation of the Bible. Each lesson includes a story, flashcards for the story, a simple grammar explanation, questions in Latin about the story, oral exercises, and weekly quizzes. Year 2 reviews all five noun cases and their functions, all four verb conjugations, adjectives, and imperatives, and covers new concepts such as future and imperfect tenses, infinitives, adverbs, and demonstrative pronouns.

Flashcards for this package can be purchased below, but they are not included in the regular package.

These flashcards are printed on 8.5x11" cardstock and you have to cut them yourself. It includes all the pictures found in the Storybook Latin textbook.

Storybook Latin 2

We are only about 3 weeks into the book, but so far think it’s been great. There seem to be a few vocabulary words used in the stories that have been left off the weekly vocabulary as well as the thesaurus vocabulorum that we’ve seen in year one but are rusty in starting year 2.

My children love this curriculum. The picture and comic based learning really makes things stick. That being said, the amount of glaring errors is frustrating. Missing pages in the teacher’s guide, wrong words on flash cards, etc. Plus my student books were misprinted in black and white instead of color and it took over a month to receive new corrected ones. Therefore I cannot recommend this curriculum.

Very Good!

I have never touched Latin a day in my life and neither have my kids. The first year I had to learn all sorts of Latin Grammar and was quite concerned since I had no background and was learning right along with my kids, but slowly it all comes together and makes some sense. Latin does have an order and now English words make more sense. A very good program. My kids loved drawing the cartoons to match the words!

Having not ever taken Latin, this curriculum makes it possible for me and my kids to learn Latin together and have fun doing it. After having used Storybook Latin 1, this is an improvement and I would definitely recommend it highly.
