Social Media Manager

Canon Press is a company that will continue to have a disproportionate impact and influence for years to come. Our social media team is one of the ways we accomplish that goal.

Responsibilities

  • Be able to develop and implement a corporate social media strategy 
  • Manage content creation, social copy, and publishing.
  • Have an eye on and develop the strategy for expanding onto newer social platforms - increasing reach and fan interaction with the brand.
  • Develop strategies to drive engagement and build community, engaging and interacting with followers. 
  • Understand how to create and produce the same piece of content for each varying social platform.
  • Track content performance, discovering, and implementing actionable insights to improve business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience with one or more content mediums is a plus!
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
  • Self-motivated 
  • Grit
  • Creative and critical thinking skills
  • Know Canon, the times, and speak pirate
  • Sense of humor required.
  • Immunity to shrill scolds, also required.
